Sasayama Mountain（Sasayama）
An oasis of tranquility, and a sacred place of mountain worship
Located on the prefectural border, the mountain is 1064 meters high. The Shinto shrine of Sasayama Jinja sits on the peak, familiar from olden times as a sacred place of mountain worship. The best time for viewing the akebono azalea flowers is from late April to early May.
