“I’ve been fishing for 40 years. My hobby got the best of me, and I ended up starting a sport fishing-boat charter business,” laughs the owner, Ken Yasunobe. His boat, the “Kenho Maru,” can be chartered by groups of four people and up. Offshore fishing for red sea bream and other such fish is on offer at 10,000 yen per person, while fishing for yellowfin tuna and other such slightly more open-ocean fish is still reasonable at 15,000 yen. Groups of three people or more can be taken. Reservations only.
