Local delicacies reaching new heights in a menu full of surprises
The name of this restaurant means (roughly) “the playful kitchen,” because of the owner Tsuzuki-san’s fun approach to cooking. The Himekko chicken sashimi (800 yen) and “modori katsuo” bonito sashimi (from 650 yen) bring out the goodness of the local ingredients in a novel style, and the curry-flavored katsuo (bonito) croquette (290 yen) also shows a playfulness of spirit. So does the rest of the menu.
