This eatery is a sister establishment to Kameya Ryokan (Kameya Inn). With a history of 50 years or so, the inn is a much-loved local institution, dating from the time of the current owner’s grandmother. At Kamekichi, you can savor the inn’s meal of the day. The main dining theme is local fish dishes, such as “tai no ara-ni” (simmered sea bream). The menu, which varies by season and caters to requests, is surprisingly reasonable.
